IT Lifecycle

Advice / planning
At the beginning we get an overview of your IT landscape. We analyze your current requirements; future implementation plans and include technological developments. The aim is that both, your hardware and the software used, are well positioned for future business developments and that all necessary processes can be mapped. This is always done in compliance with the available resources.

Procurement
In order to ensure an efficient supply chain, we pay close attention to the need for resources in procurement. So-called “overstaffing” is not part of our DNA. We source locally or globally depending on availability. Quality always comes first.

Commissioning / rollout
Kopernikus IT Systems GmbH creates a detailed implementation concept for smooth commissioning and any subsequent work. In this phase, which is critical to success, we ensure seamless communication with the customer and all internal and external stakeholders. Of course, there is a complete documentation of all steps carried out. The downtimes for the customer are minimized as far as possible.

Operation / maintenance / patch management
Once the new system has been installed and put into operation, regular maintenance, including patch management, begins. Structured maintenance increases the runtime and efficiency of the system. With our comprehensive concept, we ensure that all functions are error-free. We have also taken precautions in event of an incident and developed a schedule for such support cases. A vulnerability board also ensures smooth processes in the event of known vulnerabilities.

Control / Change Requests / Adjustments
Adjustments in the form of change requests are not uncommon in the IT landscape. These further developments are critically monitored by us and checked for success after their implementation. This is how we ensure the function of your system at all times.

Renewal / migration
Systems are usually renewed after around 5 years of operation. With hardware products, the capacities are usually no longer sufficient, the support from the manufacturer is discontinued or the extension of the guarantee becomes uneconomical. Now it's time to start planning and designing a new system and the IT cycle starts all over again. This transition phase is characterized by risks and a large number of stakeholders. We relieve you in a targeted manner and ensure that this upheaval is carried out and accepted.
